Virgin Australia UPDATED RATES: From April 2, 2025, earn 4 base points per $1 spent on eligible Virgin Australia flights, or 5 base points per $1 if you hold an eligible Velocity credit card. Status members earn bonus points: Silver (50% extra), Gold (75% extra), and Platinum (100% extra). This is down from the previous 5-7 points per $1. Learn more

Qatar Airways Earn Velocity Points based on fare class and distance flown, from 0.25 points per mile for Economy to 2.5 points per mile for First Class. Qatar Airways operates daily flights from Australia to 140+ worldwide destinations including Middle East and Europe. You can also redeem Velocity points for Qatar Airways award flights (e.g., 158,500 points one-way business class Australia to Europe). Partner details

United Airlines Earn 0.5-2.5 points per mile flown depending on fare class (Economy 0.5pts, Business 1.5-2pts, First 2.5pts). United’s extensive US network makes this partnership valuable for earning points on trans-Pacific flights and domestic US connections. Rates vary by specific fare type within each cabin class. Singapore Airlines Earn points based on distance flown: Economy from 0.25 points per mile, Premium Economy from 1.25 points per mile, Business from 1.5 points per mile, and First from 2 points per mile. American Express Transfer Membership Rewards points to Velocity at rates between 2:1 and 1:1 depending on card type. The Amex Velocity Platinum card is currently the highest-earning personal credit card for Velocity points on everyday spend.
