Virgin Airlines Promo

This is an ongoing post in a series updated every so often, detailing easy ways we know of to get Virgin Australia Velocity points – for free, or near to that.

Velocity FF account

You have one of these right? If not, time to get one! There’s actually a deal on at present where if you join and earn 50 points before April, you’ll earn a bonus 2,000 points! You can use our referral link (so we both benefit).

Coles/Liquorland/Kmart/Target/flybuys

Do you shop and earn flybuys? you can transfer your flybuys points in multiples of 2,000 for 870 Velocity Points.  And you can earn STATUS CREDITS (one of the only ways to earn them without flying) – earn 1 Status Credit for every $100 spent, up to 10 per month.

Flybuystravel

Did you know Flybuys have their own travel website, where you can earn more Flybuys points, and convert them to to Velocity points?  Flybuystravel.com.au – regularly has promotions on certain routes or destinations where you can earn 5x or 10x flybuys points too!

Red Balloon

How about an experience with Red Balloon? Over 3,000 experience/gift ideas, and you can earn 2 Velocity Points per $1 spent.

Car Service

Own a car? You can earn 2 points per $1 spent on vehicle maintenance, services and log book services at 85+ Midas Service Centres in Australia.

Hotels

Going travelling? For hotels, like Crown hotels, TFE, and many thousands of others, you can earn often 3 points per $1 spent at Velocity Hotel Partners.

We’ll be expanding this list over time, but for now, if you don’t have an account, make sure to get one, and then try connecting some of the services mentioned above. Free points are not to be sneezed at!
