- Virgin Australia will for the first time operate Perth-Launceston seasonal services launching in time for the Christmas holidays
- Commencing Friday 5 November, the direct services will operate three times per week to 30 January 2022, transporting up to 4,200 passengers each month.
- To celebrate the services going on sale today, Virgin Australia is offering a flash sale with one-way Economy fares starting from $149* until midnight this Friday, or until sold out.
- Sale fares are available for selected travel dates between 5 November – 10 December 2021 and 10 January – 30 January 2022. All Virgin Australia fares include Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits
- Sale fares are available to be booked using travel credit and Future Flight Credits
- Unlimited booking flexibility to change or cancel to travel credit with no fees, available for travel up to 28 February^.
Thursday 9 September 2021: Virgin Australia has announced it will operate the first-ever direct flights between Perth and Launceston in time for the Christmas holidays.
The new three-times weekly services linking Launceston and Perth will commence on 5 November, transporting up to 4,200 passengers between the two cities each month.
