Airbus A380 interactive 3D explorer
Explode the world's largest passenger jet into its assemblies, click any part for what it does and how big it is, and switch between the cabin layouts of the airlines that fly it.
Step inside to walk the main and upper decks from first class to economy, take a window seat, or sit in the flight deck. Then head to the airport for a pushback, a take-off and a landing, by day or by night.
What you can explore
- The airframe, taken apart: fuselage, wings, tail, landing gear and all four engines, with each part's role and dimensions.
- Inside the engines: a cutaway shows the fan, compressor and turbine stages.
- Both cabin decks: Emirates-, Qantas- and Singapore-style layouts, plus a high-density one, from first class suites to economy.
- The flight deck: take the captain's seat and look out over the nose.
- Flight: flaps, slats, spoilers and gear move through taxi, take-off, cruise and landing at an airport.
The A380 at a glance
The A380 is 72.7 m long with a 79.8 m wingspan, and it's the only airliner with two full-length passenger decks. It first flew in 2005, and Airbus built 251 before production ended in 2021. Emirates flies by far the largest fleet, and Qantas is the only Australian airline to fly it.
