Offer 1: 40,000 Bonus Velocity Points on Holidays
Book a new eligible Virgin Australia Holidays package with a minimum $1,000 cash spend by 11:59pm AEST on 18 October 2026, for travel from 12 October 2026 to 26 June 2027, and earn 40,000 bonus Velocity Points.
The bonus is on top of the usual 3 Velocity Points per $1 of eligible spend. Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus members continue to receive their separate tier bonuses, taking the total standard earn rate to up to 7.5 Points per $1. Full-redemption and Points+Pay bookings are not eligible for the 40,000-point bonus.

Choose either double Velocity Points or double Status Credits before booking. Once confirmed, the selection cannot be changed.
To qualify, activate the offer, then book and ticket a new eligible flight with your Velocity membership number during the promotion period. Travel must be completed between 12 October and 30 November 2026. Eligible flights are Virgin Australia-operated domestic, Trans-Tasman and international short-haul services with a VA flight number.

Reward Seats, Holidays flights booked through Hopper, Qatar Airways-operated Doha services, charter flights, interline and codeshare flights are excluded. Flights booked with a partner or non-partner airline in the same booking are also excluded where they earn based on total miles flown. The double-points option applies to base Points only; eligible tier bonuses remain separate. Allow up to four weeks after travel for the bonus to be credited.
