Turkish Airlines Direct to Singapore: Sydney from $775 Return, Melbourne from $788 - Aug 2026 to Jun 2027
About Turkish Airlines
Turkish Airlines is the Istanbul-based carrier with one of the world’s broadest country networks, and a Star Alliance member - so it connects with Star Alliance airlines, and with Qantas on selected itineraries. Its Australian flying runs via Istanbul to Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, and Singapore sits on that network as an Australian gateway. As a full-service airline, checked baggage, meals and inflight entertainment are included in the fare. Full details are on our Turkish Airlines airline guide.
These fares are for direct flights to Singapore, so there is no connection to plan around on the way over. If you are carrying on somewhere else from Singapore on a separate booking, check the minimum connection time at Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) against your itinerary before you commit - Changi is an efficient airport, but on a separate ticket a missed onward flight is your problem rather than the airline’s.
About Singapore
Singapore packs an unusual amount into a small island. Gardens by the Bay and its Supertrees are the postcard shot, but Chinatown and Little India are where the hawker centres are - Maxwell and Tekka among the best of them, and cheap enough that eating well barely registers on a budget. Add the Botanic Gardens (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the shophouses and Malay heritage of Kampong Glam, and the National Gallery in the old Supreme Court building. It is hot and humid year-round with reliable afternoon downpours, so plan the indoor attractions into the middle of the day rather than fighting the weather. More at Visit Singapore.
The Fares
Sydney is the cheaper of the two departure cities, from $775 return on the late-October and mid-March dates, with a long run of $777-$778 fares filling out November and then most of April and May. Melbourne starts at $788 return in late January and sits close to $789 across a big stretch of February and March, before settling around $793-$795 from April into June.
Both cities have wide availability rather than a handful of isolated dates, so scan the tables for a return window that actually suits your trip - the gap between the headline fare and a far more convenient one is often only a few dollars.
