This applies to past and future bookings in that window — making it one of the more generous promotions we’ve seen for status runners this year.

Bonus Status Credits:

• 2 flights = 45 bonus SC
• 3 flights = 65 bonus SC
• 4 flights = 85 bonus SC
• 5 flights = 105 bonus SC
• 6+ flights = 125 bonus SC

Applies to all Virgin Australia fare types — including Lite and Choice

Bonus applies on top of base Status Credits earned by the flight

Allow up to ~6 weeks after Mar 31 for credits to post to your account

Why This Matters

Status Credits are what unlock Velocity status tiers like Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus — which come with perks like lounge access, priority check-in, extra baggage allowance and complimentary seat selection.

With this promotion, you could potentially reach or retain your status tier much easier than normal. For example:

• Silver requires 250 SC
• Gold requires 500 SC
• Platinum requires 800 SC

The 125 bonus SC from flying 6+ segments represents a significant boost toward these thresholds.
