Qantas Points Planes 2027: Every Seat a Classic Reward to Tokyo, Paris & Hobart from 9,200 Points + $61 (Book 6-8 Nov)
Qantas Points Planes are back for 2027. On select Qantas-operated flights to Tokyo, Paris and Hobart, every available seat in every cabin can be booked as a Classic Flight Reward, so this is one of the rare chances to grab Business or Premium Economy reward seats in bulk rather than fighting over one or two per flight.
Prices start from 9,200 points + A$61 one-way in Economy (Melbourne to Hobart), 82,100 points + A$378 one-way in Business (Brisbane to Tokyo Narita) and 124,700 points + A$435 one-way in Premium Economy (Sydney to Paris via Singapore).
Booking opens 9:00am AEDT Friday 6 November 2026 and closes 11:59pm AEDT Sunday 8 November 2026.
About Qantas
Qantas is Australia’s flag carrier and a founding member of the oneworld alliance, flying an extensive domestic network plus long-haul services across Asia, North America, Europe, Africa and the Pacific. Points Planes apply only to the Qantas-operated flights listed below, not Jetstar. Read more in our Qantas airline guide.
The Paris flights aren’t non-stop: QF255 to Paris goes via Singapore Changi (SIN), and QF34 back to Sydney goes via Perth (PER). If you’re connecting onto another flight at either end, check the minimum connection time against your itinerary before you book.
About the Destinations
Tokyo in early January is cold, clear and far less crowded than cherry blossom season. Wander the shrines and shopping lanes of Asakusa and Harajuku, catch the views from Shibuya Sky, and if you’re keen on snow, the ski fields of Nagano and Niigata are an easy shinkansen ride away. See Japan’s official tourism site (JNTO) for more.
Paris in late February and March is off-season: shorter queues at the Louvre and Musée d’Orsay, cheaper hotels, and a chance to explore Montmartre and the Marais before the spring crowds arrive. A three-week trip between QF255 out and QF34 home also leaves time for a train to the rest of Europe. See Paris je t’aime for more.
Hobart in January is peak Tasmanian summer: Salamanca Market on Saturdays, MONA by ferry up the Derwent, kunanyi/Mount Wellington at sunrise, and day trips to Bruny Island or Port Arthur. See Discover Tasmania for more.
